The Sycamore Islander is the club's monthly newsletter. It is sent to all members, club applicants on the waiting list and some local authorities. It usually arrives by mail the first week of the month but always before the club's monthly meeting so that members may be notified of any issues up for debate or for vote. It contains the minutes of the previous monthly meeting, large party scheduling information, the weekend relief caretaker schedule, the caretaker's monthly column "Notes from the Island" and other articles of general interest to the membership.
